Room was super comfy and clean. Really spacious with plenty of desk and power plugs. Loved the bathroom—excellent shower. It was totally quiet, which was so nice after a long day. Beds were warm and cozy. Only bummer was the instant coffee in the room. a cafetiere would be amazing. But for the price, can’t complain at all!

my recent stay was delightful as the friendly staff provided outstanding meals, including the best mac and cheese I've tasted in a long time, making returning for a second visit a no-brainer. The hotel is just a short stroll from Tain Museum and almost 2 km from the beautiful Nigg Bay, perfect for a weekend of walking around the city and enjoying scenic views. although the pub's service was top-notch, it would be nice to have a kettle in the room for a quick hot drink upon arrival.

i had a lovely stay at shandwick inn. the location is perfect for catching the ferry to orkney. the food was delicious, and the portions were generous. the staff went above and beyond—especially the young lady who helped me with my tv issue. i'm glad i chose this place.
